HELP THE ENVIRONMENT...BE A GREEN WALKER
AIDS Walk New York actively and continuously takes strides in making our event “greener” by instituting recycling programs, encouraging public transportation, and by reusable materials.
You can help the AIDS Walk be more environmentally friendly by participating in our new Green Walker program. The Green Walker program saves paper and postage, which means that more money will go to the fight against AIDS.
Being a Green Walker is easy! All you need to do is:
*Have regular access to a computer to download all the information/materials you will
need.
*Encourage your sponsors to make their contributions online with a credit card.
*Be able to receive all AIDS Walk New York correspondence by e-mail only.
As a Green Walker you will:
*Be able to skip the lines and go to our express “Green Walker Sign-In” area on the morning of the AIDS Walk New York.
*Receive a special AIDS Walk New York commemorative “Green Walker” pin.
*Help save the environment as you help in the fight against AIDS!
We hope that you will be able to join us as a Green Walker this year and make AIDS Walk New York an even greener, and leaner, event!

PLEASE NOTE: As a Green Walker, you may receive "paper" contributions in the form of either cash, checks, money orders, or matching gift
forms.
In the event that you do, you will still be a Green Walker and receive a commemorative Green Walker Pin. In order to enjoy access to the stream-lined sign-in and awards process at the Green Walker Sign-In Area, simply send in "paper" contributions, by mail or by hand, to the AIDS Walk New York office in Chelsea prior to the event.
You can also utilize Early Sign-In to turn in your contributions and receive your awards at the AIDS Walk New York office from Wednesday, May 12 through Friday, May 14! After submitting your "paper" donations, enter them as “offline donations” on your personal fundraising Web page in order to keep an accurate record of your fundraising.
