This year AIDS Walk San Francisco has partnered with Zipcar, a car share service where members can reserve cars by the hour or day with gas and insurance included. Any AIDS Walk participant who raises $100 or more will be entered into a raffle to win a year-long membership with Zipcar. For every additional $50 you raise you will receive another entry, up to 4 entries maximum if you raise $250. If you are selected, you will have access to Zipcar sharing for the year, including insurance and gas expenses!* Zipcar is a great way to “green” your life and save money on gas, so start your fundraising today!

Zipcar is a car sharing service dedicated to the principle that no one in San Francisco or Boston or New York or…needs to own a car. We’ve got great public transportation and we’re lucky for it. However, we know there are those little incidentals where the MUNI bus just isn’t the right choice. We know that no one wants to be on the bus with five grocery bags next to the sweaty guy with the neck beard. Zipcar is for those times. Zipcar is for when you want to get away for the weekend, and it’s for that Ikea run. It isn’t a substitute for a car, it’s a new and different lifestyle.
*You must be a licensed driver, 21 years or older and meet safe driving standards to use the Zipcar. If you win and aren’t a licensed driver, you can transfer the prize to another
member of your household.
