Thank you so much for your interest in helping us our with this year's event!  We need over 1,500 volunteers on Sunday, July 18 to ensure a safe and fun day for all. We have opportunities for everyone, even groups: you can greet participants, total donations, cheer on walkers and so much more!  Simply stated, AIDS Walk San Francisco could not happen without the time and effort of our dedicated volunteers.

** All other orientations take place at Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park at the specified time.

 

AIDS Walk San Francisco will happen rain or shine, so please dress appropriately – layers are recommended. 

Also, please be sure to leave all valuables at home.

 

CHECKPOINTS - CLOSED

Walk Shift:  8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Report directly to your assigned Checkpoint. Specific instructions and location assignments will be given at the orientation.  

Orientation:  Saturday, July 17 from Noon – 1p.m.  The orientation will be held at Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park.  Please go to the AIDS Walk Information Tent in front of the AIDS Walk stage.  You will then be directed where to go for your orientation.

Walk Shift:  7:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Meet at Volunteer Sign In, located just outside Golden Gate Park JFK and Kezar.

STRIKE/CLEAN-UP CREW 

Walk Shift:  2 p.m. – 6 p.m.  Please meet at Checkpoint 4 located in Sharon Meadow.

CROWD CONTROL  - CLOSED

SECURITY

Walk Shift:  7:45 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Meet at Volunteer Sign In, located just outside Golden Gate Park JFK and Kezar.

Orientation:  Saturday July 18 from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. in Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park.  Please go to the AIDS WALK Information Tent in front of the AIDS WALK stage.  You will then be directed where to go for your orientation. 

 

SET-UP CREW   - CLOSED

Walk Shift:  5:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  Please go directly to the LIGHT TOWER located in Sharon Meadow.

Orientation:  None
